My mom is visiting/helping me out this week. You are just never too old to need your mom! I've been working on a new schedule that includes me only working from 8-3pm. I can't even tell you how hard this is, but necessary. I was working from 7am until 11pm everyday with just a few breaks for dinner and hardly any time for anything else. Isn't that just a recipe for disaster!
Artists - you can NOT work every waking moment! Enjoy life and lift your head up from the work desk every now and then.

ReplyDeleteGood luck with the new work schedule...I need to do that--my day starts at 4:30am (start work a 6) then continues until usually 10 at night (sometimes later when I sleep in a bit on the weekends). If I don't stay on schedule and go off and do something else, it usually takes me 2 weeks to get caught up!

I am my happiest both personally and professionally when I worked 6:00-3:00. It is not always easy to do! I hope you see an improvement in your quality of life quickly!

ReplyDeleteHi, Heather and Hello Beverly! Hope you are enjoying the visit. Three generations of my family will be together in Texas this weekend - if you see a glow from North Texas you'll know why! My daughter and grandbaby are visiting the great-grandparents. Woo Hoo! And yes, keep reminding us to HAVE a LIFE and not just work with heads down all the time. It's a good reminder!
