Inspired by: The Sea

I'm switching things up this week.  The challenges were a way to promote my book coming out and now that has happened sooner than I thought it was going to be, I'm going to simplify things here for myself!  I'm sure you understand.

So this is the new deal:

You have 4 weeks to design something inspired by the sea - you can enter up to four times with four different designs.

Each Tuesday on my blog I will feature my favorite pick from the entries so far - so enter early!

On Tuesday, September 20th I will draw one winner to receive a
$75 gift certificate to Humblebeads.com

The winner will be chosen randomly from all 4 week's worth of entries.

You can follow along with the same themes from before or you can do something sea-themed in general.

Anything goes - it can included Humblebeads or not and use any technique as long as it matches the sea theme.

To enter upload your photos to the Inspired by Nature Jewelry Challenge Flickr Group.

Here are some designs featuring my starfish and urchins to get the creative gears churning.

My design, featured in the first Bead Star magazine!

The book is out now and you can order a signed copy from my Etsy shop or head over to Amazon for an unsigned copy!

I just got your book Heather, I'm having so much fun looking through it. I have to say I'm glad we now have more than a week for a challenge, since I often create something to use a week just wasn't enough time for me. THANK YOU!

I love this theme! I had a couple of ideas for some of the other theme but didn't have enough time to finish them in a week, so four weeks is great, thank you!

Great theme! I love this bracelet by PeacockFairy. As in, I love to wear it because it's *mine now*! Keep up the beautiful work, Heathers.

Congrats on your book coming out early. I have to say I am relieved you are giving us more time for the challenges. I have tried to make them all but sometimes the week is just gone. I love all your challenge inspiration pieces and will be working on some polymer clay sea creatures this next week.
