BTW - Beads In Progress

Btw
It's Bead Table Wednesday or By The Way - I have 6 days left to get ready for Bead & Button!

Btw
This is what we are working on today - antiquing, sanding and finishing all of these beads.  They look so different in this candy coated state.

Btw
So thankful I have full-time help or I would be crying and not blogging right now.

I finished making my clasps last night and they await paint.  Today I'm thinking I should press out some more of the new cuff beads.  I only made 6 of each style.  That doesn't seem like enough does it?  Or does it?  I'm not sure, maybe it is.

I hate this part of getting ready - the second guessing.  On EVERYTHING!

And the best and worst part of working with polymer clay - I can make beads up until the day I leave.  I'm really trying to finish all the beadmaking by Sunday and have 1 day to work on the rest of the finishing.

So dear friends - what's on your bead table today?  Check out the BTW flickr group for some eye candy and inspiration!

I think you should make lots of the cuff beads in many colors. I can't wait for them to be offered on Etsy. All the beads look lovely in the trays. Have fun today.

Heather,
I just get this irresistable urge to say:
"Looks like you are a bit short on beads for the show. Better start producing some now ..."

Just hoping you have the same sense of humor as I do.

And I want to add, simply:
"WOW!!!!!!"

If I were you, I would be making more of the cuff beads because if I were able to go to B&B, I would be buying quite a few. I hope you are going to offer them on Etsy?

I agree with Patty, these look like boxes of candy! Maybe those pastel wafer chocolates. Looks like you're just about ready for the big show, Heather!

Wow! Look at those beautiful colours. I love that polymer gives you complete flexibilities and worlds of possibilities in that way. If I were you I would make some more of those cuff beads - I think they are really fab and wouldn't be surprised if many others agreed :-)

I wondered about that bright color when I first clicked in...just didn't look right. I think your display is going to be perfect! Wish I was going to be at B&B to touch them all. :)

I agree, more cuff beads if you have time. those things are going to sell like crazy - will you be offering them in your shop when B&B is done (asks the lady with the voucher burning a hole in her pocket?)

I'm stunned by the mass amount of beads. Candy indeed. They will sure catch everyone's eye at B&B.
