My next entry, Ginkgo Gardens is in the pearl category. I have a strand of purple stick pearls, green keishi pearls and top drilled purple pearls. Strung in there are a few of my purple disks and two Elaine Ray ceramic beads. Those wonderful ceramic ginkgo leaves came from Tasha McKelvey. The silver ginkgo came from Shipwreck Beads and was one of the many treasures I picked out from my Bead Star prize last year. Funny, huh?
Notice a theme? I love to work with other artist's beads!
This isn't my design, but I have to mention it. Erin from Tesorit Trovati has a few pieces in the competition too, this one features my Golden Kiss bead. Sweet! It's in the seed bead category.
I noticed a few of my buddies, including Lorelei Eurto who has a design in plastic's category. Did you enter this year?

The necklaces are just gorgeous! I'm off to vote for you!
I also notice that you like to give credit to other artists where it's due. :) For that AND for being a Bead Star finalist, compliments!

Congratulations Heather! You pieces are gorgeous. I also wanted to say a huge thank you. You wrote a post a while back encouraging people to enter this contest. I did because of what you wrote. I make very few pieces but my bracelet is in the under $25 category. I am so speechless that I can't even write about it. If you were here I would be throwing my arms around you and giving you the biggest hugs.
Your necklaces are gorgeous! I entered this year and my Lavender Splendor made the finals! It's the first contest I've entered so I'm very excited to just make the finals!
Good luck to both of us!
I am so excited and proud for you.
Those are beautiful pieces and I am sending you winning wishes!
Good luck....
Heather, Congrats! extraordinary pieces! I also voted for Erin's piece but I didn't even know it was her's! Congrats both of you and everyone!
Can I get a WOOT WOOT? Heather, I had no idea until I saw your post that I made it. I made it! I voted for you and had some office-mates vote for you too!
I just went out there and found out that I have managed to squeeze in 3 pieces! #5 in Seed Beads (w/ your absolutely stunning bead), #10in glass (w/ Jangles ceramic beads) and #6 in heart (again w/ Jangles beads). I am so excited!
I will tell all the world to vote for your #8 in stones and #11 in pearls! (Oh and Lorelei's #7 in Plastics, too!)
I will have to post about it tonight....
WOOT WOOT!
Enjoy the day!

Congratulations Heather. You were generous to give me advice about Bead Star and I am proud to have piece in the Metals category.
I think your work is great and you have such a generous spirit sharing with other artists. Keep up the good work.
Will we see multiple entries from you in this year's publication? I hope so.
Excellent work Heather! I thought I might try my own hand this year, but alas, I'm just not ready for deadlines and submissions, someday. I voted this morning and there were so many great designs kudos to the many commenters and others, some categories were tougher than others for me but your work is a standout as always. Best of luck!
As usual Heather, you and your designs are just FABULOUS! Congrats!
Absolutely wonderful pieces! I voted and had the best time looking through all the creations!
Best of luck!
