Vintaj Art Bead Partner

Howdy Partner!

I'm excited to tell you that I am Vintaj's current Art Bead Partner!

What does that mean?  Well I sent some goodies to the Vintaj design team a while back and they have worked in their magic to create some inspiring pieces combining their components with my beads.

You can find the project above featured on their blog today.

They also have a Forest Friends Challenge for this month.

And later there will be a giveaway on their blog.

New in my Etsy shop - Dogwood Blossom Charms

I'm waiting for my copy of the new Vintaj book, Mixed Metals, to arrive - there are some Humblebeads in the projects!

And you know what else I'm waiting for?  A whole big box of Vintaj goodies because I will be selling Vintaj along with some of my other favorite beads on the Bead Cruise, at my retreats and in my Etsy shop.  I'm looking forward to branching out offering some of my favorite pairings with my Humblebeads.

P.S. - Thank you to everyone who has left me notes of encouragement about my knees and using the cane and scooter.  It really did help yesterday and I will be ordering the scooter tomorrow.  I have a feeling my Mom and Rosanne will be trying to hitch rides as we zoom down the long halls on the ship.  I'm going to focus on having a good time on the cruise and not worry about whether I'm sitting or standing for the festivities.  I know it will take some time, but these knees will be working again and until then I will take care of myself and not worry about my pride!

I just read yesterday's post. I know you don't know me or anything but man, do I know the person you should talk to for genuine encouragement. One day, about a month ago, my Mom stood up and severed a quadricep tendon. It happened out of no where. She spent the weekend in the hospital, had surgery Monday morning, went home Tuesday and has been in her recliner since. She has intense physical therapy and a projected 5-6 month recovery period! Her life has been put on hold for 6 months. My Mom never sits still - she is an extremely involved pastor's wife, works full-time & has 3 grandkids who mean the world to her. She has recently graduated from a walker to a cane. Trust me, canes aren't so bad! My Mom's only 51 and she rocks it. You can get some really cool old wooden canes. As hard as this injury is my Mom has learned to be content and appreciate what she does have so much more. Don't worry, you'll get through this!

Congrats! What a fun partnership. I love your spunk and I'm guessing you'd make any festivity fun whether standing or scooting.

@Ashleigh - what a cool mom!
Now Ms. Heather - keep it comin' love! You ARE the woman!! A scooter? How fantastic. Seriously. I had a wheelchair for 2 yrs and it was a drag. I had my knees replaced and ins wouldn't give me a scooter because I was going to have surgery.
Anyway, congrats to Vintaj for finding and locking in such a great talent and inspiration in our jewelry industry!
Have a fantastic time on the cruise and please share with us all you can about the happenings.
Best wishes,
~Renee
