Bead Table Wednesday

Join me tomorrow on my Humblebeaeds Facebook page for a live video chat with tips on creating your own custom bead mixes for projects. We start at 2pm, make sure you like my page and join on Wednesday at 2pm for Bead Table Wednesday. 

New Online Workshop

It's time for another polymer clay bootcamp! This bootcamp is all about focusing on learning to make and design canes. Each week you'll learn new canes and clever ways to use them to make beads. 

There are two parts to this workshop:

• Beadmaking - with step by step videos and instructions to make all the beads pictured here.

• Designing Canes and Finding Your Voice - this part of the workshop is optional. It's full of creative exercises to help you discover your own unique voice in polymer clay and help you design original canes. 

 

The class will cover four weeks of skill-building cane classes.

• Learn 10 new canes with step-by-step videos and tutorials
• Learn how to design your own canes
• Delve into my creative process for finding inspiration and making beads
• Advanced optional skill builders to discover your voice in polymer clay
• Start to develop your own designs and styles for beads
• Tips for creating bead series/collection

There will be a dedicated Facebook group for this class, a private classroom with downloads, videos and worksheets. And don't forget lifetime access to all class materials. Beginners are welcome!

The Art of Color Polymer Clay Bootcamp

 

I've received many requests to host an online class so I finally decided to listen and created this amazing color and cane beadmaking course that stars these awesome Sunflowers inspired by Van Gogh.  It's a four week course that will cover an array of my favorite color tricks, the ins and outs of color theory and how all that info can help you make better beads.  We'll start out with simple canes, building on your skills until you are ready to tackle the sunflower and create color palettes like the one below.  Are you excited? Because I am!

I've wanted to revisit Van Gogh's paintings to create a new series of beads for a while now.  This class was the push that got me going! I couldn't be happier with these lovely sunflowers.  My next beads will be Van Gogh's Irises and his Almond Blossom painting.  You can find the Sunflowers in my Etsy shop right now.

Spring Polymer Clay Workshop

Hello sweet friends.  I would like to invite you to join me April 12th for an amazing and fun day of beadmaking.  My spring workshop is titled Leaves, Wreaths and Vines and I can't wait to share my tips and tricks with you for organic and nature-inspired beads. 

What we'll cover in the class:

1. Learn to make a leaf cane that can transform into endless variations.
2. Discover the thrill of layering transulcent canes for depeth and fun effects.
3. Play with gold leaf to add shimmer to your beads.
4. Learn several shapes and my professional tips for the best beadmaking results.
5. Discover how to texture and paint beads for greater variety.

Leaves, Wreaths and Vines will be April 12th from 10-5pm. This will be a 6 hour class.  Lunch and supplies will be included. 

There are only 10 spots available for this event.
